BATON ROUGE – LSU Athletics announced an expansion of its partnership with Playfly Sports to include a new relationship with WMT Digital, the Playfly partner specializing in results-based digital marketing, software engineering and web development. The new agreement will deliver a range of innovative digital services, including an upgraded, fully-customized website.
“Our partnership with Playfly and WMT will allow the LSU brand to further expand its reach in the digital space,” said LSU Athletics Director Scott Woodward. “We look forward to providing dynamic content and unique experiences to all LSU fans through this new platform.”
Playfly Sports and WMT Digital will provide LSU Athletics with an advanced digital infrastructure to showcase original multimedia content, including podcasts, videos and photo galleries. Additionally, LSU will have the ability to personalize and customize the user experience and seamlessly integrate third-party sites into its digital platforms.
“We are proud to work with Scott and the LSU Athletic Department to create new solutions that further engage their fan base,” said Michael Schreiber, Founder and CEO, Playfly Sports. “Alongside our partner WMT Digital, we are co-developing new digital solutions that provide our partners like LSU with a technological edge that can capture incremental revenue and elevated fan engagement.”
The agreement with LSU coincides with a new strategic partnership between Playfly Sports and WMT Digital, which utilizes technology to develop solutions and new products that enhance the user experience within web, mobile and over the top platforms. With the support of WMT Digital, Playfly Sports intends to create new media inventory, sponsorship activation solutions, and additional capabilities for its partners.
“WMT shares our vision and innovative approach to how clients should utilize digital media to drive growth, added Schreiber. “Together we will strive to offer solutions that have no peer in this industry.”
“By teaming with Playfly, WMT can bring a new dimension to how athletic departments deploy their digital assets,” said Andres Focil, WMT Founder. “Each of our university partners has their own competitive advantage – given the spirit of their student body and passion of the alumni base. We tap into that and use our proprietary approach to maximize engagement. WMT is excited to add LSU to our roster – Geaux Tigers!”
